Remember the scene in the 2018 remake of ‘A Star is Born’ when Lady Gaga’s character is encouraged to go out onto the stage and sing in front of a huge audience for the first time? It’s my favorite scene in that movie. She’s torn. She knows it’s her big chance but she’s terrified.

What a rush!

Change is the only actual constant in life and change often means challenge. Sometimes it’s a good challenge, like singing in front of a huge audience and blowing up in your career. Sometimes it’s a hard thing, like a family member who is super sick, a struggling child, or the discomfort of a big expensive purchase. Maybe it’s the terror of inviting in a new romance after heartbreak.

Perhaps you are facing a family crisis where you have to work with people who expect you to behave a certain way when you want to be a more evolved version of yourself. That’s what happened this week to one of my friends.

She has a family crisis on her hands. She’s on vacation in a warm sunny place, which happens to be where the crisis creators live. She sorta ‘accidentally’ ended up on vacation there, then got pulled down the drain by an old awful story that finally came to the surface for resolution. Now she’s depleted and angry and can’t wait to leave. I mentioned the idea of quantum entanglement to her. Quantum entanglement is when two particles link together in a certain way no matter how far apart, they are in space. It’s great if you want the tangle, but it’s a bear if you don’t.

She considered the idea, and it brought lightness to her heart. She’s entangled, and the proximity is making it much worse. But she went to that location on purpose, subconsciously driven to resolve the tangle.

We are brilliant beings, guided by the lesson's life serves up. Earth is a school, as we experience daily. Mastery is recognizing the simplicity of this idea.
